Many ask themselves will oil make me break out?!  Do I really need this?

No, using appropriate it on your face will not make you break out.  In fact, just the opposite. Augmenting your skin care routine with good quality oils will give you that youthful glow. The concentrated oils are quickly absorbed into your skin, making them an effective treatment. Most oils are packed with antioxidants and omegas. Face oil return elasticity to your skin, help to smooth out wrinkles and soothe irritated areas. 

BENEFITS:

1. Serve as an effective emollient
Sunflower oil,  is useful as an effective emollient; this will help keep the skin moist. Thus, owners of dry skin can get the most benefit from sunflower seed oil if used regularly. Besides, the benefits of sunflower oil for skin can also relieve, soothe and help heal skin irritation and inflammation.

2. Eliminating Acne
Benefits of sunflower oil to reduce acne. Acne occurs when excess oil and sebum that is covered in follicles under the skin and infected by bacteria. Vitamins A, C, D, and E, and essential fatty acids present in sunflower will provide a protective layer, which prevents bacterial skin contact. Therefore, sunflower also works as an effective remedy against acne, and this oil should be applied to the skin directly.

3. Skin protection from the sun
Furthermore, benefits of sunflower oil are also useful to protect skin from the sun. Sunflower oil is a good source of vitamin E, in addition to almond oil. The magnitude of the benefits of this vitamin will prevent skin cell damage due to ultraviolet (UV). Besides, the sunflower seeds also contain beta-carotene that is useful to avoid free radicals, one of the consequences of free radicals is the destruction of the skin and skin cancer cells.

 

 

4. Can Help Defend Against Sun Damage

Is grape seed good for your face if you’ve developed sun damage? Yes; because it contains a number of antioxidants — such as vitamin E, proanthocyanidin, flavonoids, carotenoids, phenolic acids, tannins and stilbenes — it may have anti-aging and anti-inflammatory effects. Vitamin E, for example, contributes to the beneficial effects of this oil because of its high antioxidant activity and protection of skin cells.

Thanks to its ability to help defend against oxidative stress, applying can improve your skin’s appearance and reduce minor signs of aging, such as loss of elasticity and dark spots.

While it shouldn’t be used in place of regular sunscreen, there’s some evidence that plant like coconut oil can offer some protection against UV radiation from the sun.

How To Use It:

As a final step, after moisturizing (because you’ve already cleansed and toned first, right?!), gently pat 3-4 drops onto your face, avoiding the T-zone. Gently, very gently, massage in oil.
