Lychee

Light and semi-sweet, a sparkling summer beverage that everyone can enjoy. Step up your mocktail game and garnish with fresh berries and rose petals.

Why Lychee fruit is healthy?

  • Contains good amount of antioxidant Vitamin C, Vitamin B-complex and phytonutrient flavonoids.
  • Lychee is a rich source of nutrient that is required for the production of blood. It provides manganese, magnesium, copper, iron and folate that are required for the formation of RBC.
  • Lychee contains good amount of fiber and Vitamin B-complex which increase metabolism fat, protein and carbohydrate. Fiber rich foods has proved to suppress appetite and increase metabolism.

Recipe

(Makes 5 cups)

INGREDIENTS

  •  3 cups sparkling water
  • 2 cups lychee juice
  • 3-4 tsp rosewater (depending on taste)
  • 1 tbsp cherry or pomegranate juice
  •  fresh berries and rose petals for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix all the ingredients together in a large pitcher, and garnish with berries and rose petals. Serve chilled.

Note: You can use the juice from canned lychees packed in syrup.
